Welcome 2020

Happy New Year to all!
This time of year I usually reflect on the past and things I want to work on in the present for the future.  Changes in diet, daily routines, etc or what we handily call resolutions. This year aside from practicing more guitar and working on more music, I also want to focus less on online reading, social media, etc and more on actual books like the ones on my shelves which in some cases have been waiting years to be read.

On that note, I just finished THE PRESIDENT IS MISSING, a novel by Bill Clinton and James Patterson. I consider myself a bit of a political junky so I enjoyed the book and its pacing. As with all books of this type, a suspension of disbelief is necessary, after all it's a thriller. But I liked it. The thing is, I probably wouldn't have read it 1 if my daughter hadn't given it to me and 2, if Clinton's name wasn't attached to it.

But there it is, spent most of January 1st finishing a novel I had started about 2 weeks ago.

As for New Year's Eve, I spent it up in Panticosa playing a special dinner show with my friend Jose Carlos Ondiviela. He's a musician from Zaragoza, where I live. Our set list was made up mostly of classic rock songs, and a first - right after the new year rang in, we played another 4 songs which included "Greased Lightning". That was fun.
