Georges Moustaki - Le Métèque

One of the cool things about doing covers is that people recommend songs. Here's a classic French tune from the 70's which I'd never heard. I'm learning it for someone's birthday because they like this song and asked for it. My French is very limited but I will try and the birthday lady will sing along. So, voila. Now this song was unknown to me, as was Georges Moustaki. I'm really really liking the tune.  Check it out. Turns out this guy wrote for a whole lot of  French singers including Edith Piaf with whom he had a relationship once. His story is interesting.
