Dinner and a documentary
Went to bed early, for me. 11ish. Woke up and made some chamomile tea and just realized that I hadn't written anything for Friday January 24. I spent a couple of hours making dinner, chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes while listening/watching the impeachment trial. After dinner we began to watch episode 1 of the Beatles Anthology. I've seen it before but I want the kids to see it.
All through the day I'd thought about stuff I wanted to write about. What's weird is that I actually forgot to sit down and do it. I'm gonna have to start jotting down ideas cause I forgot what it was I wanted to write about.
I did spend some time at Re-Read, the used books store. I went there yesterday also (Thursday) and bought a book by Javier Cercas, Soldados de Salamina which I've been meaning to read. I also dedicated a couple of minutes to starting Neil de Grasse Tyson's Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. The few pages I read blew my f'in mind. Wooooooooo
