The Ballad of El Goodo (Big Star cover) 38/365

 "Guns they wait to be stuck by..." 
38/365 I first heard this song as recorded by Evan Dando of The Lemonheads on the Empire Records soundtrack. I later learned through a friend that it was a song by Alex Chilton and Big Star. It's a beautiful song with great lyrics. The original Big STar recording has wonderful jangly guitars and vocal harmonies. I rarely play this live and haven’t since about 5 years ago. Today it just came back to me, how much I love it. I’m never sure what key to play it in, but this one seems to be ok. Thanks for listening,
